Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CurioKids platform, websites, and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by CurioKids, part of the Flavoureak Group. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a child, you do so as the child's parent or legal guardian and accept these Terms on their behalf.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Parent accounts are responsible for the activity of the child profiles they create.

2. Eligibility & children

Child profiles may only be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own independent accounts. Our handling of children's personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Lessons, bookings & live classes

The Service enables you to book and attend live 1-on-1 and group lessons with teachers. Lesson availability, scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling are subject to the rules shown in the booking flow at the time of purchase. Live classes may use video, audio, a shared whiteboard, and chat; sessions may be recorded for safeguarding and quality purposes where you have consented.

4. Payments & subscriptions

Paid plans and lesson packages are billed through our payment processor. Subscription fees recur until cancelled. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at the point of sale, fees already paid are non-refundable. You authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method for amounts due.

5. Teacher engagement

Teachers provide lessons through the platform under separate teacher terms. CurioKids facilitates scheduling, delivery, and payouts but is not a party to the educational relationship beyond the standards we require of teachers on the platform.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorisation, harass other users, infringe intellectual property, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that put the safety of children or other users at risk.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including lesson content, software, and branding, is owned by CurioKids or its licensors and is protected by law. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended educational purpose.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
