Before a teacher can teach

Teachers can't teach until our team has confirmed a background check and they have signed our teaching agreement.

Lessons stay in our classroom
Lessons happen only inside the CurioKids classroom, never on other apps or video services.
No contact outside CurioKids
Our teaching agreement doesn't allow teachers to contact children or families outside CurioKids, or to share personal contact details.
A grown-up nearby
We suggest a parent or carer stays nearby during lessons, especially with younger children.
Speak up about anything
The “Report a concern” button is in every lesson. Anything that feels wrong is worth reporting.

Press “Report a concern”. It's in every lesson and throughout the app. Tell us what happened in your own words.
By email
Email hello@curiokidslearning.com with what happened, when, and the names of anyone involved.
If a child is in danger now
Call the police or emergency services first (999 in Singapore and Malaysia), then tell us.
What happens next
Our team is alerted
A report sent with “Report a concern” is recorded and our team is alerted as soon as you send it.
We look into it
We review every report and may contact you for more details.
We act to protect children
Where a child may be at risk, we can stop a teacher from teaching while we look into it, and end their teaching agreement.

Teachers and families keep in touch inside CurioKids.
Contact details are blocked
Messages on CurioKids block the sharing of personal contact details.
Everything stays on CurioKids
Teachers agree not to contact children or families outside CurioKids.
Child mode
Hand over the device, keep control
Child mode is for when your child uses CurioKids on your device.
You're in control
Child mode lets your child use CurioKids on your device while you stay in control.
Protected by your PIN
Only your PIN switches back to your parent account, so your child can't change your plan or payment details.
Data protection

Where your data lives, who handles payments, and what stays out of the children's side of CurioKids.

Your family's data is hosted on AWS in Singapore.
Payments by Stripe
Payments are handled by Stripe. CurioKids never sees your full card number.
No ads or trackers for children
There are no ads or third-party trackers inside the classroom or the children's app.

- We never pass off an AI-assisted lesson summary as the teacher's own words: AI-assisted summaries are drafted from the teacher's notes and labelled.
