What does a CurioKids plan cost in Kuwait?
What changes between plans is how often your child meets their teacher: 1 time a week on Starter, 2 times on Growth, 3 times on Accelerator. What stays the same is the lesson: 25 minutes, live and 1-to-1, with a real teacher in the CurioKids online classroom.

Each lesson costs less on a plan with more of them, and Starter has the lowest total. There is nothing extra to pay for the classroom or for the feedback you receive.
Do families in Kuwait pay in dinars or US dollars?
CurioKids plans for families in Kuwait are priced in US dollars. The currency comes from the country you choose when you set up your parent account, and every plan and charge for Kuwait uses it.
If your card is in Kuwaiti dinars, your bank may convert the dollar amount at its own rate, so the dinar figure on your statement can move a little from one payment to the next. Your bank can tell you how it handles payments in other currencies. Stripe processes the payment, and CurioKids never sees your full card number.
What does the price pay for?
Every plan includes the same: live, 1-to-1, 25-minute lessons with a real teacher for children aged 4 to 12, in the CurioKids online classroom with video, an interactive whiteboard, lesson slides and games. Most children start with Phonics Starter, our 52-lesson reading course, then move through CEFR-based levels Pre-A1, A1 and A2. Teachers give feedback after lessons, you follow progress in your parent dashboard, and there is no charge for materials. See our curriculum and safety pages.
In Kuwait, Arabic is the main language of government schools, where English is a subject from the primary years, while many private schools, British, American or bilingual, teach most of the day in English. CurioKids follows its own CEFR-based curriculum and isn't linked to school exams, so it starts from your child's level whichever school they attend.
How does billing every 4 weeks fit the school year in Kuwait?
Kuwait's school year runs in terms, with holidays around Eid and a long summer holiday, and family routines change during Ramadan. A 4-week billing period has the same number of lessons whether it covers a short month or a long one, so the cost of English stays even through the year. Your child's school has the exact dates.
Plans bill every 4 weeks, not by calendar month, so every billing period has the same number of lessons: 13 payments a year. Every plan can be paid weekly instead, and paying every 4 weeks costs less than four weekly payments. You're charged when you subscribe and then at the start of each billing period. Your price is locked on your subscription, so future price changes don't affect you. You can change plan or cancel anytime, and cancel a single lesson up to 2 hours before it starts.
Over months without English, children can lose some of what they learned, so many families keep one weekly lesson going through the summer. Others find the quieter weeks a good time to start. If a term fills up, Starter keeps the habit without crowding the week.
When would lessons fit a week in Kuwait?
When you book, every lesson time is shown in Kuwait time, and since Kuwait doesn't change its clocks, a weekly slot holds all year. School runs from Sunday to Thursday; between about 4pm and 8pm, planned around prayer times, is when a 25-minute lesson usually fits. The weekend is Friday and Saturday, and a Saturday morning lesson gives the week a calm start.
Short lessons suit young children, who concentrate well in brief bursts; our guide on how long a child's lesson should be explains how lesson length and concentration fit together. A lesson at home also saves a drive in the heat.
Which plan suits a child in Kuwait?
Match the plan to your child's school and how much English they hear outside it:
- Starter, 1 lesson a week: a child at a British or American school who is comfortable in English and needs a little extra reading and speaking time each week.
- Growth, 2 lessons a week: a child at a government school who speaks Arabic at home and wants English to feel natural, not only a subject for tests.
- Accelerator, 3 lessons a week: a child starting at a bilingual or English-medium private school, or using the quieter summer weeks to build up their English.
Nothing is fixed: you can change plan as your child's needs change. How many English lessons a week does my child need? helps you decide, and online English lessons for children in Kuwait covers English at school and at home in Kuwait.
How do I compare the cost with tutoring centres and home tutors in Kuwait?
Parents in Kuwait can choose a group course at a tutoring centre, a tutor who visits the home, or lessons online, and each quotes its price in its own way. Compare them on the value to your child, not the first number you see:
- The cost of each lesson after any course or monthly price is split.
- Minutes your child spends speaking, not just sitting in the room.
- Whether lessons start from your child's level or the group's.
- Fees for registration, level tests or coursebooks.
- Whether the price is quoted in dinars or another currency, and how your bank converts it.
Sharing a teacher in a group lowers the hourly cost; a 1-to-1 lesson means your child never waits for a turn. Our guide 1-to-1 or group English classes: which suits my child? looks at both.
Can families in Kuwait start with a free lesson?
Yes. After you create a parent account and add your child, you book the first lesson free and without a card. The teacher talks with your child, listens to them read and records a starting level, so that lessons for children aged 4 to 12 start at the right point. Only if you choose to continue do you pay anything.
CurioKids opens lessons in one country after another. If lessons for families in Kuwait haven't opened yet, a waitlist takes the place of the prices in this guide. Our guide to getting ready for a first online English lesson helps you prepare.

Frequently asked questions
Are CurioKids prices for Kuwait in dinars?
No. Plans for families in Kuwait are priced in US dollars. If your card is in Kuwaiti dinars, your bank may convert the amount at its own rate.
Should we keep lessons going over the summer in Kuwait?
It helps. One short lesson a week keeps English active over the long break, and you can cancel single lessons up to 2 hours before they start if you travel.
Is one lesson a week enough for my child?
For many children it is a good start, especially with a little English at home in between. Children who want faster progress often take two or three lessons a week.
What time are lessons for children in Kuwait?
Lesson times are shown in Kuwait time. After school between about 4pm and 8pm, Sunday to Thursday, or a Friday or Saturday morning usually works well.
